This is your Association. Become an important part of it.
The AJC currently has 3 vacant positions on the General Council.
The vacancies are in British Columbia (1), the National Capital Region (1) and Quebec Region (1).
Of course, existing Governing Council members can't do it alone and need your support to ensure that volunteer duties are equitably shared among a greater number of representatives.
We encourage members who are interested in volunteering and lending a helping hand to their fellow member to consider being a Governing Council representative of the AJC! The term is for a period of 1 year and is bound to help you become better informed on the issues affecting AJC members in your region, the AJC and the public service generally.
Before calling a by-election, however, we want to be assured that there are expressions of interest in place in order to make an effective use of AJC's resources.
Please therefore send your expressions of interest to admin@ajc-ajj.com on or before June 10, 2015.

We need leaders from the above-listed regions to step forward in order to continue with the good progress we've made over these last few years. We hope you will answer this call.
