Supreme Court to Decide on AJC's Leave Application

The Association of Justice Counsel will soon find out if the Supreme Court of Canada (SCC) will grant leave to appeal the Ontario Court of Appeal decision on the Expenditure Restraint Act (ERA) Charter Challenge. The decision will be announced on Thursday, February 14th.

The AJC has invested much time and effort in this challenge. It is a crucial case that will historically impact the most sacred principles of collective bargaining not only for Federal crown counsel who are directly affected, but also for the 400,000 employees covered by the ERA.

We await the decision of the Court on this significant issue.

For more information, visit the AJC's ERA Charter Challenge web page.
