The AJC files an unfair labour practice complaint against the Department of Justice

This week, the AJC filed a complaint with the Public Service Labour Relations and Employment Board (PSLREB) against the Department of Justice (DOJ) pursuant to section 190(1)(c) of the Public Service Labour Relations Act (PSLRA) for violating its duty to observe existing terms and conditions of employment after notice to bargain collectively is given.

The DOJ recently introduced minimum targets of 1400 hours of legal work in our members' performance management agreements.

For more information on what gave rise to this complaint, you may consult AJC's communique dated April 27th, 2015.
