COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT INTEPRETATION NOTICE ON PERFORMANCE PAY PRIMARILY IMPACTING LPs AT CHRC AND DVA

The grievance has been settled by the parties

In the summer of 2014, the AJC filed a policy grievance on account of the CHRC and the DVA awarding different performance award percentages to eligible LPs who receive identical evaluation ratings within a same department or agency, i.e. 'fully meets' or 'exceeds'.

This grievance has been settled by the parties on the following terms:
    * there will be no retroactive adjustment for the 2013-2014 evaluation period;
    * the interpretation as set out in the attached clarification note will be distributed by Treasury Board to all department and agencies and shall apply effective this 2014-2015 evaluation period and for all subsequent periods thereafter.

Should any member have any questions regarding the above, please do not hesitate to contact the AJC at admin@ajc-ajj.ca .
