Leave Reconciliation: Additional Hearing Dates Scheduled for June 2015 as Former LPs Start Receiving Reconciliation Requests

Such former LPs are encouraged to consult the AJC's FAQ and report their situations

The Public Service Labour Relations and Employment Board (PSLREB) just confirmed additional hearing dates in the leave reconciliation file from June 15th to the 19th, 2015.

Last fall, two days of hearings were held on October 9 and 10, 2014, to deal with both the Leave Reconciliation and the Reconciliation Work While on Leave Policy Grievances.

We have also just learned that former LPs who worked with the Department of Justice are now receiving leave reconciliation request letters, asking them to re-examine leave records dating back several years.

Such former LPs are encouraged to consult the AJC's FAQ and report their situations in accordance with the process set out in our updated FAQ on leave reconciliation (see questions 13 and 14). Click here to go to the leave reconciliation FAQ.

Former LPs are strongly encouraged to sign up as Associate Members in order to ensure that they receive AJC's latest updates and notifications by clicking here.

As you will recall, in the fall of 2013, Treasury Board dismissed AJC's policy grievances regarding the leave reconciliation process initiated by PPSC and DOJ. Click here to read the prior communique).

We will provide you with further relevant updates as they become available.
