AJC Members Ask Senators to Vote Against C-377, the Anti-Union Bill

C-377 is fundamentally unfair and is deemed unconstitutional by many experts

You will recall that AJC President Len MacKay spoke out against Bill C-377 in his recent blog.

The union disclosure bill, which would have an impact on the AJC and its members, is back on the legislative agenda. It has now reached the second reading stage in the Senate.

C-377 is fundamentally unfair, it is deemed unconstitutional by many experts, including the Canadian Bar Association and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. C-377 would also be costly to taxpayers.

In order to maintain the pressure, Len MacKay has sent a letter to Senators and we encourage you, as an AJC member, to do the same.

We have prepared a letter for your convenience (click here). You can send this letter by email to Senators in your province.

Bill C-377 is an attack on unions and their members.  It is an attack on the AJC and you as a members.
