Read the New FAQs on the Duty to Accommodate

Last year's AJC Governing Council meeting featured an information session on mental health and the duty to accommodate in the public service.

AJC members who wish to learn more about duty to accommodate in the public service can now consult a new series of FAQs and watch video presentations on the subject.

Last year's AJC Governing Council meeting featured an information session on mental health and the duty to accommodate in the public service.

The first presentation is by Major Dave Blackburn of the Department of National Defense's Directorate of Mental Health. Major Blackburn is a widely-respected expert on mental health and has given presentations to many organisations.

The second presenter is Bruce Christianson, staff member of the Canadian Forces, who talks about the Duty to Accommodate and the return to work program offered at the Department of National Defense, a program which has served as a model to other government departments.
