Leave Reconciliation Update: Hearings Now Scheduled For October

The PSLRB has rescheduled in order to provide for a 2-day hearing

In late 2013, we sent an email to DOJ and PPSC members that June 19 was tentatively scheduled for the Leave Reconciliation Policy Grievance before the Public Service Labour Relations Board (PSLRB).

Regrettably, the PSLRB has rescheduled in order to provide for a 2-day hearing that combines both the Leave Reconciliation and the Reconciliation Work While on Leave Policy Grievances.

Accordingly, both policy grievances will now be heard on October 9 and 10, 2014.

In the last year, leave reconciliation has caused a great deal of concern to AJC members.

Last fall, Treasury Board dismissed AJC's policy grievances regarding the leave reconciliation process initiated by PPSC and DOJ.

We will share with you other news as it becomes available.
