NEW AJC BLOG / Outsourcing Legal Work: Not the Best Use of Taxpayers' Money

It is perplexing why a government would outsource work, paying Bay Street rates, when they already have competent, skilled and public-minded lawyers within their own ranks

The Association of Justice Counsel has just published a new blog post on its "I Am the AJC" mobilization campaign blog page.

In this latest post, AJC President Lisa Blais, questions how fiscally responsible it is to use outside legal services. It is perplexing why a government would outsource work, paying Bay Street rates, when they already have competent, skilled and public-minded lawyers within their own ranks.
