AJC and Treasury Board to Meet for the Next Round of Negotiations

This round of negotiations will be conducted under a new reality: that of Bill C-4, which will have an impact on many of our bargaining rights.

Your Negotiations Team will meet for the first time with Treasury Board officials and senior management to engage in face-to-face talks and exchange proposals for this latest round of collective bargaining. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 26, 2014.

The AJC collective agreement expires on May 9, 2014. Your existing terms and conditions of employment will continue until a new collective agreement is in place.

This round of negotiations will be conducted under a new reality: that of Bill C-4, which will have an impact on many of our bargaining rights.

For ease of reference here is a list of our vignettes involving Bill C-4 that we published late last year. Here, you will find the major changes to the Public Service Labour Relations Act, the regime under which bargaining will take place.
