Classification Reform and the Job Description Review Process:AJC Issues a new Set of FAQs

On August 8, 2011, the AJC issued a communique announcing Treasury Boardīs Classification Reform Project and the departmental plans to create and implement new generic job descriptions. PPSC and DOJ have started to roll out new Generic Job Descriptions for LAs, by asking LAs to read and sign their new Job Descriptions. Other departments and agencies will soon follow suit.

The AJC has put together a list of FAQs. Please read these FAQs carefully and contact your local GC Representative or our head office if you have any further questions.
